Our group, SenseFit, presents an integrated smart sock system designed to evaluate and optimize shoe fit using distributed pressure sensing. The system incorporates an array of SingleTact pressure sensors embedded along the upper regions of the sock to capture real-time pressure distribution between the foot and footwear. Sensor data is processed through an ESP32 microcontroller and transmitted wirelessly for analysis and visualization. By analyzing these pressure patterns, the system identifies areas of excessive tightness, uneven load distribution, and potential discomfort. The design emphasizes a low-profile, flexible textile integration to maintain comfort and usability for everyday wear. SenseFit bridges the gap between subjective comfort and objective measurement, enabling more informed footwear decisions and improved overall fit.
