Bio

Ryan Lee is a third-year Mechanical Engineering student. He decided to be an engineer, after he joined the Robotics Club in high school.

His studies at UCSB prepared him to spend a summer working at Northrop Grumman, where he developed testing equipment for the James Webb Space Telescope. The following year, he helped build a lab device to measure the propagation of vibrations through the hand, for UCSB’s Re Touch Lab. After the measuring equipment was completed, he joined the Gestur Team.

In his free time, he still works on his robots, and occasionally, he goes for runs on the beach. After all, it would be a shame to go to UCSB and never see the ocean.
