Our project is a smart watch designed for the elderly living in nursing homes to monitor their health around the clock. The watch will collect heart rate, blood oxygen levels, activity levels, respiratory rate, and fall detection that can be displayed on the smart watch
screen or seen on their phone. We plan to use Bluetooth to connect the data retrieved from the smartwatch to an app on the user’s phone. The app will process the information and alert the on-site doctors if the user’s vitals seem abnormal and it will show real time data collection to the user.
