Bio

Pranav Maroli is a mechanical engineering student interested in aerodynamics and flight systems, particularly in the field of ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance). Since a young age, Pranav had been fascinated by flight, and continues to show his enthusiasm by building and flying RC planes, helicopters, & multirotors. 

Throughout his career at UCSB and internships, Pranav has continuously demonstrated his ability to quickly learn and adapt accordingly to the task at hand. Pranav excels at using the resources available to him to teach himself what he needs to know, from picking up skills in C++ to making renderings and animations in SolidWorks. With his strong understanding of fundamental concepts and drive to learn and accomplish more, Pranav constantly challenges himself to be better. 

Over the course of his Capstone project, Pranav enjoyed being able to combine his passion for flight with his skills in engineering. It was truly exciting for him to work on a project in such an up-and-coming field with a company as esteemed as Northrop Grumman. Pranav has been exposed to and learned many new skills in engineering throughout this project and is certain that he will build upon those skills throughout his career.
