Jesus Diera is a fourth year Computer Engineer at UCSB, with a focus on Embedded Systems and Web Development/Networking. Growing up, he was always interested in learning how computers worked, and he came to UCSB to get his BS in Computer Engineering and fulfill his goal of becoming an engineer. He chose the Hyperloop project because it was a great opportunity to work on challenging, innovative technology. He is on the Sensors and Controls team, where his primary responsibility is in Web Development and its interface with the Hyperloop hardware. Jesus plans to work on Embedded System and Software Engineering after graduating and to continue pursuing his passion of Web Development in the future.
