Bio

Viswa Rao is a mechanical engineering student with a passion for the environment and a love of all things space-related. He is interested in applying the skills he has learned in his undergraduate career for the pursuit of a better tomorrow for all mankind. 

Viswa is a born leader and team player, and these attributes in combination with his natural curiosity and intuition of the way things work allow him to succeed in any setting. His ability to utilize his skills for the good of his group is key to his success in engineering and demonstrates his superior teamwork. Viswa is able to use criticism to better himself and his work, while also able to provide helpful suggestions and be constructive when in disagreement with a collaborator. He knows the right questions to ask and uses the vast amount of resources available to him to figure out solutions. Viswa has learned the art of correctly researching thousands of questions throughout his years, and this skill proves to be invaluable when presented with new problems. 

It is of the upmost importance for an engineer to apply the skills and knowledge stored away inside his brain, as well as to be able to explain his ideas to others. This is an area where Viswa excels, as his intuition for mathematics and physical phenomena allow him to explain concepts and ideas to others in an intuitive way. His experience with many aspects of engineering, such as research, development, production, manufacturing, and quality assurance, allow him to be a valuable member of any team, as well as a fun person to work with.
