Robert Palfini is a mechanical engineering student developing the maglev and the linear bearing system on the UCSB Hyperloop pod. When not working on these systems, he enjoys working on robotics projects. Graduating spring 2017, he is currently seeking a full-time position at an innovative company that encourages collaboration for next year. His passions include system design, mechanical design, mechatronics, control design, and robotics. He is also very interested in innovative projects that encourage constant growth in my discipline. Robert is from sunny, southern California and enjoys reading in his spare time.
