Nathaniel is a dual major in Electrical Engineering and Physics at UC Santa Barbara. Throughout his time at UCSB, he has engaged in a number of independent design projects consisting mostly of digital systems (a quadcopter for example). In his junior and senior years, he was involved in UCSB's Technology Management Program and the New Venture Competition because he is deeply interested in entrepreneurship and the tech start-up culture. In ECE, he has gained experience in analog design, signal processing, embedded systems, control system theory, HDLs, and a variety of both high and low level coding languages. In physics, his primary interests are high-energy particle physics, quantum computing, and optics. Both his degrees have complemented each other by expanding and well-rounding his critical thinking, problem solving abilities, and creativity.
