Bio

Kuan Sung is a senior mechanical engineering student. He moved to the United States during his second year of high school, and went from a second grade level English ability to scoring in the top 5% in the SAT exam for college admission. His first internship opportunity at LEGO allowed him to develop strong interpersonal skills. In a diverse team for a global company, he polished his communication and teamwork skills, and ultimately learned to thrive in the grand corporate environment. Working with Johnson Matthey in an unfamiliar field also proved his ability to adapt. He learned to perform tasks quickly and became familiar with many great people there. Now, as a team leader of his multidisciplinary senior design project, he is working on building a consumer device from scratch for a local customer. He focused on communication with stakeholders, prototype testing, and project design.
