Bio

James McKenna is an electrical engineering student interested in RF communications electronics, analog circuit design, and digital signal processing. He has been devoted to obtaining a diverse engineering skillset while at UCSB, taking coursework in analog and digital electronics, as well as learning multiple programming languages.  

James’s leadership background throughout his earlier academic career, including being senior class president in high school has provided him with an understanding of leadership in a team environment and has assisted him throughout the entire Capstone project. Whether it be delegating assignments, keeping a positive work environment, or differing to other group members, James can support his teammates while keeping the project on a trajectory to success.
