Bio

Brian Canty is part of Hyperloop's Sensors and Controls Team, where he specializes in state machine and system design. Because his role requires him to interface with the numerous subsystem teams that are part of the project, Brian is very comfortable working in multidisciplinary environments where he can put his communication skills to work. Within electrical engineering, his interests are varied; he enjoys studying embedded system design, hardware-software interfaces, analog circuitry, and signal processing. He hopes to put these skills to use within the field of controls, and will be continuing at UCSB in order to pursue a M.S. in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in controls.
