Bio

Alex Santos is the head of the Power Distribution team of UCSB’s interdisciplinary Hyperloop Capstone project. In this role, she oversaw and managed the power distribution for all of the pod’s subsystems. Outside of Hyperloop, she has taken a special interest in semiconductor device physics and VLSI Design. She has taken various courses and labs that have helped develop her passion for working in a laboratory setting. She is a quick learner and thoroughly enjoys working with others, and is always eager to take on new projects. During her free time, Alex enjoys balancing out her technical nature with her creative side, by painting, crafting and learning new languages.
