Description

No real-time continuous inline flow sensor that gives accurate measurements of continuous insulin dosages into the body exists in the diabetes treatment industry. This is due primarily to the extremely small flow rates at which insulin is supplied and restrictive geometry of a discrete device to be carried by the patient throughout their day to day activities.

Our Team is tasked with proving through a proof of concept that the technology we have chosen is feasible for this application and provide recommendations for Medtronic Diabetes to continue with the development of this sensor for commercial sale.
