Description

The Heeluxe Analysis Last, or HAL, is a durable and accurate model foot and calf with embedded sensors and laser gauges that can reliably determine the fit of shoes in a time efficient manner. Currently, determining shoe fit measurements is an extremely inefficient process as the shoes are manufactured overseas but tested in the states. Shoes are shipped back overseas to be corrected, which can turn into a lengthy back and forth process to fix multiple small defects. This product improves the way shoe manufacturers test the comfort and accurate sizing of new shoes, as well as preventing defective shoes from being shipped. Each of the eight sensors measures specific pressure locations on the foot and each of the three distance laser gauges takes optimal distance measurements into account. For big and small shoe companies, being first to market in such a highly competitive industry is incredibly important. The time saved with HAL by eliminating the need to ship defective shoes back and forth overseas will allow these companies to be on the forefront of the market with quality products.
