Brandon Grunberg

<p>Brandon Grunberg is a fourth year mechanical engineering student at the University of California, Santa Barbara. After graduating&nbsp;in Spring of 2017, Brandon will continue&nbsp;at UCSB to pursue his Master’s degree in mechanical engineering with an emphasis in fluid mechanics at the UCSB Fluid Energy Laboratory. Over the past four years Brandon has been involved with a variety of projects that built on his engineering and teamwork abilities. He worked on creating an autonomous quadcopter system designed to collect coastal water samples, was a leader in redeveloping the UCSB mini&nbsp;baja&nbsp;car, and helped develop a portable water filtration device. In addition, he interned at Gulfstream Aerospace where he helped produce engineering drawings and design internal aircraft fixtures.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>When not working on schoolwork, Brandon&nbsp;enjoys&nbsp;being&nbsp;outdoors&nbsp;and&nbsp;working with a variety of clubs on campus. He is on the board&nbsp;of&nbsp;Tau Beta Pi, an&nbsp;engineering honors fraternity, and is an active member of a mentorship program that&nbsp;guide new engineering students. With his remaining time, Brandon enjoys mountain biking, rock climbing, backpacking,&nbsp;and&nbsp;traveling to new places.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
